Summer is here (even though it feels like it's been here for a while here in Texas), and that means it's time to enjoy the sun and hang out with your favorite people. Throwing a dinner party can seem intimidating, but if you plan ahead, it really can end up being a fun experience for you and your guests.
We had a little staycation last month while we watched our friends' house while they took a trip to California. Their house is so fun and refreshing, so we immediately knew we had to have some fun with it while they were away (with their permission, of course).
We teamed up with two incredible vendors for this Summer Dinner Party inspired shoot and made magic happen! Urban Rubbish did an incredible job with the floral arrangement and the beautiful succulents. The mix of burgundy and cream in the arrangement really popped with the navy and amber dinnerware. The succulents really made the dinner party feel a bit more casual, and if you're feeling generous, let your guests take home a succulent with them! If you have little ones around before the dinner party, let them plant the succulents! It's a great learning experience (most people at our succulent planting party had never planted a thing before!) and it makes them feel included in the fun.
Vestige Rentals did an incredible job setting the rest of the tablescape using vintage amber glasses paired with navy table runners and plates. The vintage glasses were one of our favorites parts of the design. We absolutely love incorporating vintage glass into anything we do, whether it be planting a succulent in a tea cup or using them to bring a fun texture color to a dinner party like this!
Of course, ten23photography photographed this incredible shoot and Epoch Events coordinated the whole thing!
