Graduate Photos in Downtown Bryan | 1023 Photography

This was a very last minute session that ended up being too much fun. We met Caleb and his mom Downtown and just started exploring. Caleb is heading to Texas A&M in the fall to study Visualization (SO COOL). We all connected so well and learned his older brother was in a web series we're obsessed with. His mom kept him grinning the whole time and it really shows in the shots we got.

Tip: We highly recommend bringing someone who will have fun during your session. Whether that is your mom, dad, brother, sister, best friend, etc. The best photos are always the candid shots that catch real smiles and laughter.

For the photographers: We got ourselves a 35mm 1.4 about a month ago and had been eager to finally get it out and start using it. We have used it on a lot of our shop photos, but it's nothing compared to actually shooting a session with it. We are obsessed!! It opens up so many possibilities while shooting. We had usually only used our 50mm 1.4 for sessions, so wider shots weren't as easy to achieve. Normally we shoot Nikon, but we opted for the Sigma version of the 35mm and are incredibly satisfied with it. We heard wonderful things about Sigma and had to test it out for ourselves. If you're on the fence about the Sigma 35mm, let this be the sign you were looking for.
